(flotation machine) short for flotation concentrator, refers to the mechanical equipment to complete the flotation process. In the floatation machine, the slurry is treated by mixing and aerating, so that some of the ore particles are selectively fixed on the bubbles, and the floating surface is scraped out to form foam products, while the rest is retained in the pulp to achieve the purpose of separating minerals. There are many structural forms of flotation machine. At present, mechanical agitation flotation machine is commonly used.
It has strong adaptability to coal quality, high separation accuracy and high yield, especially for difficult coal preparation. The ash content of clean coal can be reduced by 1-2% compared with conventional mechanical agitation flotation machine.
The capacity is large and the unit volume capacity is 2-3 times of that of conventional flotation machine. The operation cost is low, and it can save 1/3-1/2 of electricity compared with conventional mechanical stirring flotation machine.
There are no running parts in the flotation machine trough, so it is easy to maintain and repair. It covers a small area and saves capital investment. The area occupied by the same treatment capacity is only 40-60% of the mechanical mixing type. Simple operation and high degree of automation.
